THOSE WHO PREACH TOLERANCE ARE OFTEN THE MOST INTOLERANT

The ones who pride themselves on being open and respectful are often the most aggressive when faced with opposing views. They don’t seek debate but rather to impose their beliefs, and when someone disagrees, they resort to insults, censorship, and personal attacks.
For them, tolerance only applies if you agree with their stance. They live in echo chambers where they only hear like-minded opinions, and when someone challenges their ideas, they see it as a threat rather than a different perspective. Their response isn’t dialogue—it’s hostility—because deep down, they don’t want to argue, they want to control the narrative.

True tolerance means accepting diverse viewpoints without violence or censorship, yet many have turned their version of tolerance into a rigid dogma that leaves no room for dissent. Ironically, those who talk the most about tolerance are often the first to attack those who simply think differently.

Weapons create paradoxes that are hard to resolve. In a country where they’re legal, those who don’t carry one put themselves at a disadvantage against those who do. But if everyone is armed, no one dares to use theirs because they know the other person might shoot first. And yet, in a country where they’re banned, the only ones who have them are those who don’t follow the law, leaving everyone else as defenseless targets.

The theory says that arming the population creates balance, a game of deterrence where the risk of retaliation keeps guns holstered. But reality is far messier. Owning a gun, in itself, can push you to use it in situations where you otherwise never would have considered it. A misunderstanding, a pointless road rage incident, a moment of anger… and suddenly, pulling the trigger feels like an option.

If no one carries weapons, there’s no dilemma. If everyone does, the risk is always there but kept in check by mutual fear. And between these two extremes, the paradox remains: allowing guns means that those who don’t carry them are at risk, banning them means only those already outside the law will have them. So the real question is: which scenario would you rather live in?

In recent years, the spectacle of fights has been going downhill without brakes, and the worst part is that it seems like no one is at the wheel. The brainstorming sessions of promoters must be absolute madness: fights in phone booths, fights in pools, two vs. two, two girls against one guy, two dwarfs against a guy of average height… It’s no longer about organizing real fights, but about who can come up with the most absurd idea.

The latest? Two professional fighters against ten amateur fighters, a complete spectacle organized by Real Xtreme Fighting (RXF), Romania’s top MMA league. Basically, it’s like throwing two medieval knights against ten peasants or putting two pit bulls against ten poodles.

Where do we draw the line? No idea. But at this rate, MMA is turning more into a circus than a sport. Full speed downhill with no brakes.

HITS A SUPERMARKET MANAGER WITH A SHOVEL FOR NOT GIVING HIS WIFE A DAY OFF

In a supermarket in Sinop, Brazil, a man struck the manager with a shovel after his wife, an employee at the store, complained about not getting any days off. The attack was caught on video, showing how the manager, who was standing with his back turned while talking on the phone, was hit from the side. The impact was partially absorbed by the device, but he still suffered a significant head injury. Other employees managed to subdue the attacker, who was arrested and now faces attempted homicide charges.

HOW TO MAKE EVERYTHING EVEN WORSE

In the U.S., there are "fire lanes", areas reserved for firefighters and emergency services. If you park there, you risk having your car towed, and you'll only get it back after paying the fine and towing fees.

In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, someone decided to ignore this rule and left their car in one of these spots. The tow truck did its job, but the car owner didn’t take it well and decided to confront the operator. What started as a simple $100-200 fine quickly escalated into a mess—damaging his own car and facing 3 to 6 months in jail for assault.

Moral of the story: if you screw up, don’t make it worse. And definitely don’t punch someone just doing their job. Explaining that in jail won’t be fun. And all this just for a meal at a Chinese restaurant with a mediocre 3.6 rating on Google… not worth it.

Oh, and the guy got lucky. The tow truck driver kept his cool, but after the scuffle, he reached for what looked like a firearm. In the U.S., tow truck operators are often legally armed due to how aggressive some customers can get. Thankfully, it didn’t escalate further—because that could’ve ended way worse.
