You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

You should get a good laugh out of this. Although its also a very dangerous move. Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans have proven they cannot be trusted with anything and will probably reveal the witnesses and lie about what they said.

And we can also probably expect lots more twatting all over the board.

Biden White House calls GOP's bluff on demand to see Jan. 6 Committee transcripts

The Biden White House is granting Rep. Barry Loudermilk's (R-GA) request to see unredacted versions of some transcripts of interviews by the House Select Committee that investigated the January 6th Capitol riots, albeit with some important strings attached.

Politico reports that the transcripts are some of the few pieces of evidence that the committee did not release publicly because the people interviewed in them agreed to talk with the committee on the condition that their names not be publicly disclosed.

"We will make the unredacted transcripts available to you for review in camera, provided that you agree in writing to abide by the commitments made on a bipartisan basis by the Select Committee — to maintain the anonymity of the four witnesses consistent with the conditions under which the witnesses agreed to appear before the Select Committee, and to prevent the disclosure of ‘operational details and private information,’" wrote White House Counsel’s Office member Richard Sauber in a letter to Loudermilk.

READ MORE: Trump’s spell is broken — no wonder he’s mad

As part of the arrangement, Loudermilk and his staff will be allowed to read and review, but not keep hold of, the transcripts.

According to Politico, the transcripts in question involved White House employees who confirmed key details about Trump's actions before and during the January 6th riots, including his furious reaction to then-Vice President Mike Pence informing Trump that he had no constitutional authority to single-handedly throw away certified election results.

    Utter bullshit.
The committee agreed to keep these people as "sources who will remain anonymous?"

Kind of like american haters love of using "anonymous" as a source.

Is the biden whitehouse going to release all the passwords for all the deleted files?
Is the biden whitehouse going to provide the documents the committee gave them so the whitehouse could redact them? And never returned them?

AND WHY THE FUCK IS THE WHITEHOUSE SUDDENLY DECIDING WHAT A CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE CAN HAVE AND DEMANDING CONDITIONS??

    utter bullshit.

You just gotta love judges with a butt hurt.
Jan 6 Rioter Whose Sentence Was Ruled Illegal is Sentenced Again (msn.com)
One of the Jan. 6 rioters, a fellow by the name of James Little, took exception to the sentence imposed on him by Judge Royce C. Lamberth and appealed.
Little had initially pled guilty to "Illegally parading" you see. He was sentenced to 2 months in jail and 3 years probation. Little's attorneys argued that such a sentence for a single charge was illegal; either jail or probation, but not both they said.
And the appeals court agreed; “Probation and imprisonment are alternative sentences that cannot generally be combined,” the court ruled. “The district court could not impose both for Little’s petty offense.”

So the case goes back to judge Lamberth for resentencing. Now mind, by this time Little has served his 2 months and is halfway through his probation. So Lamberth sentenced Little to 150 days, with 90 subtracted for the time Little had already served in prison and on probation.

Yep. So Lamberth stepped in his robe, so to speak, the appeals court called him on it, and he decides putting Little in jail for an additional 2 months is just the ticket. As Lamberth explained in his ruling, the “principles of double jeopardy do not prohibit the Court from imposing an additional term of imprisonment or probation when it resentences Little, as long as it credits the time already served in prison or probation against any new punishment.” Lamberth further explained; “Mr Little cannot bring himself to admit he did the wrong thing,” he explained. “This is a matter of right versus wrong.”
For "illegal parading". Which, we are compelled to remind eeryone, Little pled guilty to.

Our guess is this case is again headed for the appeals courts.

Once watched a case in Oregon.
The 9th circus ruled that the judge had messed up and returned it to him to fix it.
The judge took a contrary view, reaffirmed his ruling, and basically gave the finger to the 9th circus.
    The ruling the 9th circus made next has always stuck with Shooter, it read in part;
"This ruling will be the judicial version of the primal scream"
And they proceeded to scream at the judge in the most unflattering terms.

Elise Stefanik busted deleting statement calling for January 6 rioters to be prosecuted

    Carl Gibson, AlterNet

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-New York) — who is thought of as a leading candidate to be former President Donald Trump's 2024 running mate — recently deleted a 2021 statement from her website calling for the prosecution of January 6 participants.

Stefanik apparently deleted the statement after former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) linked to it on Saturday. On her official X/Twittr account, Cheney called the statement a "rare moment of honesty" from the woman who replaced her as House Republican Conference chair, adding that "she will have to explain how and why she morphed into a total crackpot."

Cheney noted in a subsequent tweet that Stefanik deleted the statement from her website without explanation. However, she included a screenshot of the statement in the post, telling her 644,000-plus followers to "feel free to share."

"This is a tragic day for America. I fully condemn the dangerous violence and destruction that occurred today at the United States Capitol," Stefanik said in the now-deleted statement. "Americans have a Constitutional right to protest and freedom of speech, but violence in any form is absolutely unacceptable and ant-American."

ALSO READ: Few Trumpers who embrace political violence understand its endgame

"The perpetrators of this un-American violence and destruction must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," she added. "Thank you to the United States Capitol Police, all law enforcement, the National Guard and the bipartisan professional staff of the United States Capitol for protecting the People's House and the American people."

The New York Republican has since changed her tune on January 6 defendants, whom she now refers to as "hostages." That concerned fellow New York lawmaker Rep. Dan Goldman (D-New York) so much that he filed a censure resolution against Stefanik, calling it "the culmination of a rhetoric that has gone too far."

RELATED: Liz Cheney unloads on 'disgraceful' Elise Stefanik for calling Jan. 6 rioters 'hostages'

Stefanik may have deleted the statement in order to ingratiate herself with Trump, as his commanding wins in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary move him closer to the Republican presidential nomination and the selection of a running mate. Trump has not only used the "hostages" label for January 6 rioters, but has promised to pardon the vast bulk of them if elected to a second term. More than 1,200 arrests have been made in connection to the insurrection, and the Department of Justice has secured guilty pleas and convictions from roughly 800 of those charged.

Cheney recirculates Stefanik Jan. 6 statement after she reportedly deletes it

Former No. 3 House Republican leaving the page." data-wf-tooltip-position="bottom">Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) recirculated Rep. Elise Stefanik’s (R-N.Y.) statement on the Jan. 6 Capitol attack after the current House GOP Conference Chair reportedly deleted it off her website.

On Tuesday, Cheney shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, a link to Stefanik’s now-deleted statement about Jan. 6.

After sharing Stefanik’s statement, it was deleted from the New York congresswoman’s page, which now only displays the “ERROR” message.

On Saturday morning, Cheney posted on X that she was informed that Stefanik deleted her statement about Jan. 6 where she called for the Jan. 6 perpetrators to be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law.” Cheney also shared the screenshot of Stefanik’s statement.

In her statement on the Capitol riot, Stefanik characterized the violence as “anti-American” and called it a “tragic.”

“This is truly a tragic day for America,” Stefanik said in the statement on Jan. 6, 2021. “I fully condemn the dangerous violence and destruction that occurred today at the United States Capitol. Americans have a Constitutional right to protest and freedom of speech, but violence in any form is absolutely unacceptable and anti-American. The perpetrators of this un-American violence and destruction must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Stefanik has since changed the way she describes those who stormed the Capitol.

During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” in early January, she stated she had “concerns about the treatment of Jan. 6 hostages.”

Cheney, who was one of the lawmakers leading the probe into investigating the Capitol attack, recently called Stefanik a “total crackpot.” The former Wyoming congresswoman has been a staunch critic of former President Trump and allies who promoted false claims about the 2020 election that President Biden won.

She has also called Stefanik’s labeling of Jan. 6 rioters a “disgrace” and “outrageous.”

Meanwhile, Nancy Antoinette is again in the news because of her insistence on doing stock trades using insider information.
And it's perfectly legal cause, you know, the Pelosi amendment.
    Taking care of our business?
    Bullshit.

Democrat Nancy Pelosi Called Out By Packers Star For Curious Stock Trades Connected To Government Projects (msn.com)
Democrat Nancy Pelosi Called Out By Packers Star For Curious Stock Trades Connected To Government Projects
Story by Jordan Sigler, Gridiron Heroics • 17h

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari recently put Democratic Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi on blast about a curious trade that was brought to the public’s attention. The star Packers player has a history of calling out politicians who make profits in the stock market while in office.

David Bakhtiari called out a Senator last year
Per Wisconsin Sports Heroics, last year, Bakhtiari used his X platform to highlight a trade made by the late Senator Dianne Feinstein, whose net worth grew to over $200 million during her 30-year career in public office:

Bakhtiari’s friend and former Packers teammate, Aaron Rodgers, supported Bakhtiari for pointing out Feinstein’s trading history.

Bakhtiari questioned an investment Nancy Pelosi made
Bakhtiari pointed out another trade on his X account this week. Unusual Whales posted a Tweet on a trade Pelosi made. The account alleges Pelosi bought millions in stock of Nvidia and has millions in stock of Microsoft and Google.

Politicians stand to profit off of government-backed AI projects
The program the Unusual Whales account referenced came from an announcement the National Science Foundation made on Wednesday regarding their plans to start a National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource program. According to Daniel Howley with Yahoo Finance, the program is being created out of President Joe Biden’s executive order on AI and includes several publicly traded companies:

The NAIRR pilot, the NSF said, is designed to create a national resource for researchers and educators to access high-powered AI technologies with the goal of ensuring the US continues to lead in AI research and innovation.

Companies and nonprofits joining in the two-year pilot program consist of a murderers’ row of some of the biggest names in AI, including Amazon (AMZN), Anthropic, Hugging Face, IBM (IBM), Intel (INTC), Meta (META), Microsoft (MSFT), Nvidia (NVDA), OpenAI, and Palantir (PLTR), among others.

Federal agencies participating in the effort include the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, NASA, the National Institutes of Health, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Department of Agriculture.

Bakhtiari doesn’t seem pleased with how Pelosi is putting herself in a position to make money by investing in private corporations that the government is backing.

“Dope..Nothing to see here,” Bakhtiar wrote on X.

The trades Pelosi and other politicians have made on Nvidia, Microsoft, and Google are legal. However, many people responding to Bakhtiari’s post feel those trades cross ethical boundaries.

Yes, they really do think we're that stupid.
First, Biden uses our tax dollars to form this "National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource program". You know, to keep 'Murika at the forefront of AI research. And Nancy and her other minions promptly invest in the very companies that will profit most from this bit of government pig spending.
    Using OUR tax dollars.
    But do not fear.
Nancy's on the job; she PROMISED that since the people want politicians to stop profiting like this she'll get us a bill to stop it.
    Right.
    Still waiting, bitch.

I enjoy investigating different points of view, so for me bias is not an issue. I assume that journalists and commentators have different values and concerns, and that these influence the way they write about various issues.

For me honesty is a concern. If someone deliberately lies I see no value in what he or she says.

For example, the lies of Rush Limbaugh have been documented since 1994.

    https://fair.org/home/the-way-things-arent/

When accusing someone of lying one must be careful. "People should be financially responsible for their health care," is a value assumption.

"Canadians spend more per capita on health care than Americans" is a factual assertion, that happens to be false.
