    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    My father denies what is written in Quran but still call himself a muslim.

    I said you can't be a muslim if you deny anyting in Quran.

    He doesn't accept quran verses yet he still calls himself a muslim. He says it is played with Quran, which is against Islam belief.

    I think that happens with most religions. People tend to pick and choose what suits them. Doesn't make it right, though.

    Meh....there are Christian people out there who don't read the Bible, and Bible readers who don't necessarily qualify as Christians. Go out and live a good and kind life , and whatever god or gods you believe in should look on you favourably. If he or they don't, it's down to him/ them.

    In Islam Belief, Quran is the word of Allah.

    If one denies anything in Quran, he is no longer a muslim according to islam belief.

    My father denies quran and he still calls himself a muslim.

    He's never read Quran in his life and he never will. He will just keep thinking he is a muslim this way.

    Since he denies Quran, reading won't make a difference.

    Why does it matter if he wants to call himself Muslim? Religion is a personal thing, and different for everyone. Some followers are strict and some are not, but it is not your place to judge how people have faith.

    I am a Christian, but I do not believer every word of the Bible. The first eleven chapters of Genesis take us from the Garden of Eden to the Tower of Babel, while including Noah's Flood. That cannot be literally true.

      Quran, for instance, is the word of Allah in Islam religion.

      My father, who is only muslim by name, went so far as to reject Quran as the word of Allah because he didn't like things that are written in Quran. When he does that, he actually gets out of religion.

      I told him you are a deist, not a muslim. Believing in Allah and Hell-Heaven isn't enough to be a muslim according to Islam religion.

    I feel that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, whether or not they align with what other people think.
    As long as he's not doing anything that hurts anyone else, it's his own business what he believes, and he should be free to believe as he sees fit, without interference from judgmental people.

      To idolize others not of the Islam faith/lineage is against those beliefs.

      The law you are referring to was created by man not Allah.
      To believe in Allah is primary, to follow man is secondary.
      The meaning of the Quran like the Bible has been rewritten/translated/adapted/construed to match the times and the changes in society by man.
      Even if a man believes he is receiving guidance from Allah/God, he is still just a man.

      But, I appreciate your determination to deny your father... which also against Islam.
