So are you saying that those of us that are ourselves, or as close we can be to ourselves without jepardising privacy, are dull??

But those of you that talk to your own socks, are keeping the place alive?

I think it was 50F up here This morning was delightful.

 

That's pretty warm for winter. I'm not sure what the temp was here, but at work, we had the back door open for a good while. I love sunny days!!

Thanks Hunnybunny!! I am a solar girl!!! I was thinking about maybe living in Fiji for the sunshine, but then I read about an earthquake there yesterday...kinda nixed that idea for now.

It was beautiful today

 

It was rainy and foggy yesterday and this past weekend...so depressing! I had to drive over the mountain and on the interstate in the fog!!

 

I have two socks, at the moment, and they're both on my feet and in my shoes.

 

It was pretty nice here today, as well, tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer...

I did! I wasn't in any rush so I took it slow and easy and there wasn't much traffic, either.

 

And you weren't scared of running into a Sasquatch running out of the woods ?

 

Sasquatch is SUPPOSED to be in the next county over so I wasn't worried about "it," but I was worried that a deer might jump out in front of me though!!!

 

I hit a deer once with my truck and when I reported it to the authorities and asked if I could have it for the meat, they said no and later one of them loaded it in his truck and took it. It never showed up as being disposed of in any official paperwork.

 

You hit Bambi and then the authorities took him and ate him???

If I hit a deer on the interstate, I wouldn't be alive to report it. And there are deer on my "Not a thru" road so I'm always keeping an eye out for them to jump out in front of me.

 

Odd fact but most car/animal collisions result in the most damage being done when the animal flies through the windshield and starts flailing around in the cabin of the vehicle.

You know how well Thumper and Bambi got along ... it was a sad day indeed.

 

I kind of doubt that. One of the problems with hunting deer is the damage a 150 grain bullet does to the meat. That's why you try to shoot them in the head, neck, or through the rib cage just behind the front shoulders so you don't blood shoot the meat. Now can you imagine the damage a one ton bullet does?

Not always the case. If it is instant there is no time for the blood to contaminate the meat making it taste "wild". A lot of times you will make contact with the head first as they are running across and they will spin and sometimes a secondary hit will fuck the meat up.

I wouldn't have asked for the body if it were a full out hit.

And a truck makes a pretty good tenderizer as well, lol.
