Chris Hemsworth says he can never be BFFs with Billie Eilish.

The Australian actor, 41, was a guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, March 26 and during Stephen Colbert's "Questionert" portion of the interview, Hemsworth revealed the one celebrity selfie he regrets.

"I got a photo with Billie Eilish at the Oscars and I remember thinking 'Ah, don't do it, don't do it,' " Hemsworth recalled of snapping a photo with Eilish, 23, at the 2024 Academy Awards.

The Furiosa actor told Colbert, 60, that he and wife Elsa Pataky got the pic anyway because he thought their children would love it. "I was like 'No, my kids are going to love this.' And then the moment I took it, I was like 'I went from work colleague to now like a fan,' "Hemsworth said.

"We will never be friends, never be best friends," the Marvel star added.

When Colbert asked if the Avengers actor had ever worked on a project with Eilish, Hemsworth said no but that they were "same industry-kind of colleague, bumping shoulders."

The late night host jokingly agreed, noting that he, too, could be colleagues with well-known figures in the industry. "Sure, me and Anthony Hopkins, work colleagues."

Hemsworth might have a penchant for celebrity selfies, as the actor told E! News in 2024 that he apparently broke proper protocol during the 2024 Met Gala.

The actor shared how he took "heaps of selfies” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art during fashion's biggest night of the year.

"Selfies everywhere. A lot of selfies in my phone. Like, 'When did I take that? Let's delete that one,' " he added.

According to Vogue, the annual event, which benefits the Costume Institute, maintains a "no-phone policy." Posting images to social media is also prohibited — though Hemsworth isn't alone in breaking the rule.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights on CBS.
